Our Leadership

Lead Pastor: Jess Miller

Jess is from Rockford, IL and met his wife while serving in the Air Force in Sacramento, CA.  Jess began pastoring CBC in November 2011.  Previously, he served at SGA (Slavic Gospel Association) and was an Associate Pastor at Morning Star Church in Rockford, IL.  Jess holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics from Rockford College, a Master of Ministry degree and Master of Divinity degree from Clarks Summit Seminary in Clark Summit, PA.

Associate Pastor: Graham Parker

Graham is married to Jenna and they have four children. Graham and Jenna moved to Grand Junction in 2018 to come on staff at Calvary where Graham serves as the associate pastor. His primary duties are planning and leading the music in our corporate gatherings, teaching and administration. Before coming to Calvary Bible, Graham served as a lay-elder and music pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Hot Springs, SD while working full-time as an insurance claim representative.

In Graham’s free time, he can more than likely be found remodeling his house, playing with his children, roasting his own coffee, or cheering on his beloved Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Lay Elder: Phil Hart

Originally from Michigan, Phil and his wife Susan moved to Colorado in 1979. Phil was blessed to be born in a Christian home and came to Christ at a young age. With degrees in architecture and structural engineering, Phil has spent his working career doing engineering and development work. While in Denver they were a part of Foothills Bible Church, where Phil served as an elder for several years. In 1993 they moved to Grand Junction to start an engineering firm, which Phil ran until 2008.  At Calvary, Phil serves the church by shepherding the people, helping give direction and guidance to the church with the other elders, teaching and practicing hospitality.

In his spare time, Phil enjoys climbing many of Colorado’s 14’ers, fishing, and spending time with their children and grand children.
